Home caregivers in New York City help seniors live a happy life in their own house or apartment

Our Caregivers Live in the New York/New Jersey Area

Alvita home caregivers seek to enrich the lives of all seniors all around the area. We’re well-known for providing excellent at-home care in New York City, Westchester County, northern New Jersey, and Long Island. We help elderly clients and their families get back on their feet again. We aim to improve the quality of senior lives; one step at a time. Our quality team of highly skilled caregivers, social workers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, geriatric care managers, and certified home health aides all work together to help manage the personal difficulties seniors face living at home. We provide relief from the stress upon families, allowing our clients to age independently, a reliable homecare solution is just a phone call away.

Compassionate Caregivers

We have the highest standards. We subject all prospective caregivers to a rigorous screening process we only offer employment to experienced applicants who meet those standards. Our employees are not only skilled and capable professionals, but also compassionate individuals who want to make a positive difference.

Each Alvita Care caregiver is covered by general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.  All of our caregivers must also successfully pass extensive background and reference checks. We hire only a small percentage of applicants. Once you meet members of our caregiving staff, you’ll understand why.

A Thoughtful Matching Process

Seal of approval from the Joint Commission, national quality approval

We’re Accredited by The Joint Commission

Most agencies don’t try to match their caregivers’ personalities to their clients. Instead, they send the next available employee, as if home-health aides were no different than taxis. We don’t. We believe that our clients should have a say in who provides their care.

Our individualized in-home assessment allows us to find you a caregiver who is suited to your unique personality and needs. We usually get it right the first time, but because we diligently monitor our progress we are ready to make adjustments as soon as they are needed.

If for any reason, or at any time, you or your loved one are not satisfied with the caregiver we have assigned, we will happily make all necessary changes.

Tailored Care Plans for Individual Client’s Needs

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions – we tailor our care plans to suit each individual client’s needs. Our qualified senior care managers are expert matchmakers; we match seniors with the right caregivers, ones that they are personally compatible with. After a thorough assessment of a senior’s individual homecare needs, our geriatric care managers coordinate and come up with a comprehensive care plan. Families whose seniors need a little help around the home can be assured that their parents will age safely and happily in their own homes. Our compassionate caregivers are trained to assist in a full range of senior needs, from personal care to companionship and memory care, AlvitaCare caregivers help at home, build family bonds and free up family time otherwise spent providing care.
